Audio Conferencing local PBX re-fresh
In Ohio, replace one PBX (Avaya G3Rv8) with Cisco IPBX (3.3) to provide connectivity with audio conference bridge by Spectel. In Illinois, an Avaya S8700 replaced an Avaya G3R in providing connectivity to the audio conferencing bridge. (2003-2004).
Cisco VoIP Deployment
Avaya to Cisco Conversion. In Ohio, replace one PBX (Avaya G3Rv9) with Cisco IPBX (3.3) to provide connectivity with audio conference bridge by Spectel. Replace all house phones (non-call center) from Avaya (mostly 84xx) with Cisco 7960s. 10,000 extensions were converted during this project. Funding secured for multi-year project – year one was testing and confirmation, year two and three followed LAN closet refresh which including upgrading switches for PoE. (2003-2006).
Banking Center Conversion
Replacement of various key systems (Nortel, Partner, Merlin, Toshiba) and Centrex with IPBX Cisco model using centralized model with centralized trunking. Local POTS for SRST, all other processing done over QoS enabled T1. Funding source was capitalization conversion along with seed of 10M for what was 5-cluster design to support 3200 branches, RFC and TFN to be supplanted upon SIP integration. (2005-2010)
Call Center Refresh for Chase Card Services
Upgrade PBX and adjuncts from ACM 2.2 to ACM 5 - produce stable environment with better resiliency and less PSTN interactions. Funding case for 2010.
Chicago Consolidation Project
Regional replacement program eliminating DCS+ integration for voice mail and replacing with remote set registration over T1. Funded at 10M, project 20% deployed then delayed due to staffing changes with migration to NYC and Mumbai
Cisco IPBX upgrade project 3.3 to 4.1.3
At time of Bank One purchase by JPMorgan Chase - this was to bring all versions with service packs to a single level. Funded at 6 million completed in 2006
